Social Media Moderator - Remote Opportunity

Join the Disney Direct to Consumer team as a Social Media Moderator, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through social media channels. As a key member of our Viewer Experience team, you'll be the first point of contact for supporting viewers on Facebook and Twitter, providing expert-level knowledge and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

We're looking for a highly motivated and social media-savvy individual who is passionate about delivering best-in-class customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Respond to viewer inquiries on Twitter and Facebook, providing timely and effective solutions to issues related to account management, billing, content, and site navigation.
  • Communicate expert-level knowledge of Hulu services and products to users in a clear and concise manner.
  • Identify and communicate trends and improvements to the social media team to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Resolution Specialists, developers, and engineers to resolve issues and improve the overall viewer experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience in customer service.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or retail.
  • Excellent communication, grammar, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Twitter.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or relevant professional experience.
