Materials Cycle Counter - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Cycle Counter to coordinate and manage inventory functions, including cycle counts, quality audits, and physical inventory oversight. As a Materials Cycle Counter, you will proactively work with the distribution and receiving teams to ensure inventory accuracy within the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and adjust systems as necessary to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management procedures to ensure seamless operations.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on inventory accuracy assurance programs to inform business decisions.
- Conduct random location audits to identify and process excess, obsolete, or scrap inventory.
- Coordinate annual physical inventory procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance current methods and procedures.

- Competitive hourly pay range: $19.00 - $23.00.

Requirements
- ERP/WMS experience and Microsoft Suite proficiency.
- Process improvement or continuous improvement experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Inventory control or picking and packing experience required.
Work Schedule
- 1st shift: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- Mandatory overtime may be required at times, along with voluntary overtime.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.
- Steel-toed shoes required on the distribution floor.
