Role Overview:
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aircraft Support Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines. As a critical member of our TechOps crew, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and functionality of our fleet, ensuring an exceptional travel experience for our customers. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to work with experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and develop the skills and knowledge needed to advance your career in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections to identify damage, defects, or wear that may impact safety, reliability, or customer experience
- Conduct tests on machinery, mechanical equipment, and components to ensure proper functioning
- Install, remove, or modify aircraft structures, systems, or components following technical guidelines and publications
- Troubleshoot equipment or system operation problems and recommend repairs or modifications
- Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation of all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to accomplish tasks and achieve team goals

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Airframe & Powerplant license (preferred but not required)
