We are currently seeking a Staff Process Engineer, Electrical to join our reputed company Instruments division in Portage, Michigan. What you will do: As the Staff Process Engineer, Electrical you will reputed company process engineering support for sustainment and improvement of our surgical instruments, working with Marketing, R&D, Cost reputed company, and Advanced Sourcing, Advanced reputed company, and Validation team members. You will serve as the voice of operations in the development process and work on design for manufacturability and assembly. This position is responsible for process design, development, and validation in new product development. • Work closely with internal and contract manufacturers to reputed company processes for reputed company-mechanical assembly including PCBA manufacturing, potting, soldering, pressing, plastic injection molding, torquing and reputed company assembly • reputed company or support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, installation, and validation • Ensure reputed company of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications • Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements • Work with reputed company engineers to reputed company component specific testing and inspection protocols • Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis • reputed company and/or participate in process review meetings. • Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plan, SOP and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reputed company associated with product transfers and launches • Complete capability studies for in process inspection and generate subsequent Inspection documentation • Review and approval of validation documentation What you need: • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or reputed company engineering discipline • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment Preferred Skills: • Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), PCBA manufacturing, potting, soldering, pressing, torqueing and reputed company assembly • Experience in a FDA regulated or highly regulated industry • Innovative thinker; reputed company to envisage new and reputed company ways of doing things • Experience in executing reputed company problem-solving techniques reputed company to manufacturing/design technical issues • Good instincts and reputed company judgement for electrical, mechanical and structural design • Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organize and implement reputed company tasks Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
