About the Role: Pharmacy Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and performing pharmacy tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Process prescriptions, including data entry, labeling, and counting of medications.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the state where you reside (requirements vary by state).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills, including ability to count and manage cash.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting (up to 30 lbs).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a retail or hospital setting.
• PTCB certification.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
