Staff Chaplain - Part Time

Job reputed company reputed company: The Staff Chaplain provides pastoral counseling and spiritual support to patients, family members/significant others and staff throughout the hospital. Usually this involves development of a "parish" reputed company the hospital. The chaplain reputed company serves as a member of an ecumenical pastoral care staff sharing in activities such as staff meetings, on reputed company responsibilities, and providing hospital wide worship experiences. Responsibilities And Duties: 65% Provides on reputed company, hands on ministry to patients, families and staff. This ministry would include, but not limited to: counseling, prayer, sacramental ministry, response to "codes" and educating and assisting patients with advance directives. 10% Shares rotation of reputed company "on-reputed company" responsibilities as needed. 10% Participates as a member of hospital interdisciplinary teams and serves on both Pastoral Care department and general hospital wide committees. 5% Attends Pastoral Care staff meetings and retreats. 3% Supports and performs the reputed company of responsibilities reputed company to the hospital decedent care program. This would include such responsibilities as: grief counseling, assisting nursing and medical staff in completing necessary paperwork. 2% Serves as contact person or reputed company between local clergy, patients, families and staff. 2% Participates in policy development, strategic planning, and evaluation of and for the Pastoral Care Department. 2% Assists in responding to requests for workshops, lectures, etc. from the hospital, reputed company and community. 1% Shares responsibilities for providing a reputed company of worship services as appropriate. These services may include memorial services. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree (Required)COA - Certificate of Authority as CNS - reputed company, CPE - Clinical Pastoral Education - Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Additional Job reputed company: Knowledge of pastoral care and counseling skills, especially as practiced reputed company the hospital setting. Two years ministry Experience , at least one year of this in a hospital setting.
