WBPA is seeking a Technical Director (TD) to support this mission and collaborate in building reputed company's reputed company. As an early member of a growing team reporting to reputed company's Head of Creative Technology, reputed company work closely with artists and technology leadership to implement tools and workflows and support artists' use of tools. A successful individual will work with artists and production staff across various departments to reputed company artists in ways that reputed company productivity, promote collaboration, and maximize creative choice. Your Role Responsibilities: • Work with artists and engineering team to build and reputed company workflows integrating reputed company party DCCs and internal software. • Instruct artists in the use of studio tools and workflows; contribute to user documentation. • Collaborate with other reputed company and Prod Tech team in troubleshooting issues; reputed company reputed company-line support to productions across a wide reputed company of show-specific workflows. • Work productively and collaboratively in codebases reputed company from scratch, as reputed company as in codebases inherited from other developers/partner organizations. • Participate in reputed company reviews to build a shared development culture. • Learn new processes and expand reputed company of knowledge to help support other team members. Your Qualifications and Experience: • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Graphics, or equivalent prior production experience. • Accomplished in Python coding, reputed company scripting, and user reputed company development. • Proficiency with common DCCs including Maya, and Photoshop. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to establish priorities and fluctuate between working independently and reputed company a group. • Ability to work onsite at our Burbank, CA studios (reputed company) a minimum of 3 days per week. Preferred Qualifications: • Proficiency in compiled languages, PySide, Git, Rez, and JavaScript. • Familiarity with common toolsets like OCIO, OTIO, USD • Familiarity with Unreal, Houdini, Nuke, Blender, RV, reputed company, reputed company, Storyboard Pro, and reputed company The reputed company Bits In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a reputed company thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual compensation will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, reputed company set, experience, and/or performance.
