• *Role Breakdown**
As a Remote Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in our telehealth services team, providing high-touch support to patients with complex medication needs. Your responsibilities will include:
• **MTM Services**: Counseling patients on the importance of medication adherence, providing medication education, and connecting them with community-based resources as needed.
• **Program Documentation**: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of each service provided to patients, including patient signatures or electronic verification of services received.
• **Patient Coordination**: Coordinating day/time for MTM-related services, coordinating patient signatures, and communicating with in-store pharmacy staff about patient-related topics.
• *Key Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• **Licensure**: A valid Missouri pharmacist license.
• **Experience**: At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting, with a focus on medication therapy management (MTM) and patient education.
• **Education**: A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• **Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
• **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant software applications.
• *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will be viewed favorably:
• **Certification**: Board certification in pharmacotherapy or a related field.
• **Experience with Telehealth**: Previous experience with telehealth services or remote patient care.
• **Language Skills**: Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
