Dare County Schools Instructional Assistant (Media) Reports to: reputed company Instructional Assistant School: Manteo Elementary School Reports to: PrincipalPURPOSE STATEMENT: The job of the Instructional Assistant is to reputed company support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for collaborating with classroom teachers to work with small reputed company of reputed company, assisting the teachers with identified reputed company in need of reputed company or enrichment, and maintaining reputed company records.POSITION TYPE: Regular Full-Time PAY GRADE: Noncertified Grade 56QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent; Experience working in an educational environment (substitute teaching, tutoring, etc.) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assists individual or small reputed company of reputed company with reputed company curricular areas for the purpose of building background knowledge, practicing and/or reinforcing learning concepts, and assisting reputed company in reaching reputed company goals and grade level standards; Collaborates with classroom teachers regarding student reputed company for the purpose of developing a successful learning environment and identifying appropriate tools and resources; Conducts assessments under the supervision of classroom teachers for the purpose of evaluating reputed company' instructional needs; Maintains reputed company and electronic files and records for the purpose of ensuring availability of items, providing written reference, providing a reputed company learning environment, and/or meeting mandated requirements; Ability to implement reputed company and behavioral interventions, as needed; Organize and reputed company instructional materials for use in small reputed company (i.e. books, manipulatives, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials for presenting and/or reinforcing concepts; Reports student-specific reputed company and observations for the purpose of assisting the teachers in implementing instructional plans; Support in supervising reputed company in class, between classes, during lunch and reputed company, and on field trips, as needed; Participates in meetings, in-service presentations, and reputed company learning as assigned for the purpose of acquiring and/or communicating information relative to job functions; Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures; Observes confidentiality and safeguards reputed company student reputed company information; Reports to the supervising teacher about student incidents/variances or complaints. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Instructional Assistants to Exceptional Children will have the following additional functions: Support reputed company with special needs in the educational setting; Assist reputed company in regular education classes to support learning by adapting information and tasks to their learning style and IEP goals; May be assigned to reputed company in order to help meet their basic needs (transitions between locations, eating, or personal hygiene); Support reputed company in the learning of life skills necessary to reputed company a job and/or live independently after graduation; Instructional Assistants to Media will have the following additional functions: Assist the Librarian with the following responsibilities: Support in supervising reputed company and monitoring the Circulation Desk to reputed company library book management during classes, between classes, during lunch, and during special events (Book Fair, guest speakers, etc); Maintains reputed company and electronic files and records for the purpose of circulation reports, library book management, and processing of new resources; Collaborates with librarian and classroom teachers regarding student reputed company for the purpose of developing a successful and engaging learning environment and identifying appropriate tools and resources; Assist the Instructional Technology Facilitator with the following responsibilities: Supports in supervising reputed company and monitoring the Technology Lab to reputed company student use of technology during classes; Serves as first reputed company of contact to troubleshoot student and staff technology needs (hardware and software); Supports the distribution and collection of technology equipment and maintains reputed company and electronic files and records for the purpose of asset management; Participate in district Instructional Assistant to Media reputed company learning opportunities specific to the role
