Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our franchised distributor customers, assisting them in selecting the right automotive tools and toolboxes for their needs. You will handle inbound calls, provide pricing details, part numbers, and troubleshooting issues, as well as offer technical support by sharing information and specifications from our comprehensive catalog. Your expertise and passion for delivering outstanding customer service will be essential in resolving challenges, ensuring seamless communication, and driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist franchised distributor customers in selecting automotive tools and toolboxes, providing expert advice and guidance to meet their specific needs
  • Handle inbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, and providing pricing details, part numbers, and troubleshooting issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide technical support by offering information and specifications from the blithequark catalog, ensuring that customers have the necessary information to make informed decisions
  • Input orders accurately using internal software systems, ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve challenges and ensure seamless communication, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement
  • Engage with subject matter experts across departments for cross-functional problem-solving, leveraging the expertise of our team to deliver innovative solutions
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that enable you to deliver exceptional customer service and support. The following requirements are essential:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge
  • Flexibility to work from 10:00 AM-6:30 PM ET, Monday to Friday, ensuring that our customers receive support during our standard business hours
  • At least 1 year of call center experience or equivalent customer service experience, providing a solid understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • On-the-job experience with general automotive mechanics is a plus, enabling you to provide informed support and guidance to our customers
  • ASE certification, automotive experience, tool familiarity, or a related trade school degree is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Intermediate PC and keyboard skills, ensuring that you can efficiently use our internal software systems and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret customer issues and troubleshoot effectively, using your analytical skills to resolve problems and drive customer satisfaction
  • Professional demeanor while understanding customer concerns, demonstrating empathy and a customer-centric approach
  • Quick learning ability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, enabling you to respond to changing priorities and requirements
  • Strong phone etiquette, ensuring that you provide a positive and professional experience for our customers
