Benefit Consultant
Job Description:
• Follows processes to assist with processing, insurance verification and authorization, revenue cycle management, compliance and documentation, as well as customer service and issue resolution
• Provides support in ensuring accurate billing, efficient revenue flow, and compliance with regulations
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of extensive plan writing experience supporting self-funded or fully insured plans
• 1-2 years of experience handling SBCs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy performing at high levels in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook applications
• Salesforce experience (preferred)
• Able to effectively motivate others and lead change and innovation
• Interpersonal skills to include written and verbal communication, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills
• Ability to anticipate workload needs and to follow through with minimum direction
• Effective time management, organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
