Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Care team. As a remote team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and helpful while representing blithequark's values of integrity, respect, and care. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $40,000 – $50,000 per year, depending on experience. Employees work flexible hours, with shifts ranging from 8 AM to 8 PM EST, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will handle inbound and outbound customer calls, engaging with customers to address their needs promptly and effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
  • Assisting customers with booking tickets, modifying reservations, and answering queries
  • Providing support for customer complaints and finding resolutions to issues in a timely manner
  • Educating customers on blithequark's policies, procedures, and services
  • Documenting all customer interactions accurately in the internal system
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance customer service effectiveness
  • Participating in ongoing training and team meetings to improve service delivery

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a call center environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and customer needs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as customer service, communications, or business
  • Experience working in the travel or airline industry
