Medical Content Quality Analyst
We are seeking a licensed U.S. healthcare professional (MD/DO/NP/PA/RN/PharmD depending on scope) to serve as a Medical Reviewer across our digital health brands, including:
• My MMJ Doctor (telemedicine evaluations for medical marijuana)
• Fast ESA Letter / My ESA Therapist (ESA & PSD evaluations, compliance-based behavioral assessments)
• Ongo Weight Loss (GLP-1 programs, obesity treatment, lifestyle interventions)
• Other telehealth & wellness verticals under Medclap
This role focuses on accuracy, compliance, and medical quality assurance, ensuring all published content meets YMYL, HIPAA, and state-specific telemedicine rules.
This is NOT a “content-writing” position.
This is clinical fact-checking, compliance checking, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Medical Content Review
• Review long-form blogs, landing pages, scripts, FAQs, and emails for:
• Clinical accuracy
• Regulatory compliance (state-by-state MMJ laws, HUD/FHA ESA laws, GLP-1 prescribing standards)
• Evidence-based claims
• Misleading or risky statements
• DEA-controlled substance compliance (MMJ, ADHD content, etc.)
• Identify medical misinformation, outdated guidelines, and unsafe advice.
2. Compliance Assurance
• Ensure articles meet:
• YMYL (Your Money Your Life) standards
• Google E-E-A-T
• HIPAA-safe phrasing
• State-specific regulations (MMJ laws, ESA laws, GLP-1 policies)
• Flag ANY content that risks:
• Legal liability
• Medical misinformation
• FDA/FTC violations
• State medical board issues
3. Documentation & Validation
• Provide review summaries and clinical footnotes where necessary
• Verify sources: PubMed, CDC, NIH, state health departments, medical boards
• Suggest corrections and updated clinical guidelines
4. Cross-Team Collaboration
• Work with SEO, content writers, medical directors, and compliance leads
• Help train writers on medical accuracy
• Build SOPs for compliant medical content
QualificationsClinical Requirements
Minimum for reviewer work:
• RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, or PharmD
(For controlled substances or MMJ law guidance, NP/PA/MD/DO strongly preferred)
Must have:
• Strong clinical reasoning
• Comfort reading guidelines & state regulations
• Clear writing/editing ability
• Ability to challenge and correct factual inaccuracies
Bonus Skills
• Experience with telemedicine
• Experience with behavioral health evaluations
• Knowledge of cannabis laws, FHA/HUD ESA laws, or GLP-1 programs
• Experience reviewing healthcare content for YMYL platforms
Scope & Workload
• Review 10–50 articles per month
• Provide edits, comments, and compliance notes
• Participate in monthly medical QA audits
• Fast turnaround when updating laws or state guidelines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
