This is a full-time position that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including UX Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other Content Experts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using language to simplify complex concepts, enhance user experience, and drive business objectives.Key Responsibilities• Write and edit copy that is centered on enhancing the user experience across Tesla's digital products• Collaborate with UX Design, Product Management, Engineering, and other Content Experts to develop and refine UI and UX copy• Lead client research to focus on and advocate for users in each product stream• Contribute to the style guide to ensure consistency in language and tone across all digital platforms• Define copy normalization and develop UX writing best practices to enhance flexibility and accessibility across all stages• Champion the normalization, consistency, and creativity of copy across Tesla's platform and products, aligning with business objectives• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomesEssential QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must have:• 3+ years of experience in UX copywriting or content design for web, application, and email• A Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or a related field• Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills• Ability to incorporate feedback and proactively find solutions• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Portfolio that includes interface copy, emails, style guides, and other relevant writing samplesPreferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:• Experience working with Design, Engineering, and Product teams• Strong editing skills and ability to set style guides• Experience with UX writing tools and software• Knowledge of accessibility principles and practices• Certifications in UX writing, content design, or a related fieldSkills and CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will possess:• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills• Strong understanding of UX principles and human-centered design• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment• Strong project management and organizational skills• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standardsCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt Tesla, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
