Senior Strategic Operations Manager, Consumer Growth
About the position
Uber Eats is looking for a Strategic Operations Manager to manage the development and implementation of efficient and impactful growth strategies for some of our largest Grocery and Retail partners. This operations role calls for a combination of stakeholder management, creative problem-solving, operational optimization, strong data analytics, and project management. Strong communication skills, especially being able to handle both technical and high level conversations with seasoned external leadership, are crucial since a big part of this role will be externally-facing. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, ideal for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and strategic stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute tailored marketing and investment plans for a portfolio of national and regional merchant partners in the US & Canada.
• Use data-driven insights to assess partner performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to enhance investment returns.
• Execute growth playbooks, test new demand strategies, and drive revenue through methodical experimentation and optimization.
• Partner with strategic merchant partners on strategy and execution to optimize their performance on UberEats, supporting their investment and demand generation decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales, Marketing, and Operations—to ensure seamless execution of merchant growth strategies.
• Implement best practices and operational efficiencies to scale demand growth programs across multiple partners.
Requirements
• 4+ years of operations, business/ general management, growth operations, strategy, planning, management consulting or similar experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree.
Nice-to-haves
• 3+ years of experience in growth operations, management consulting, or corporate strategy.
• 1+ years of client-facing experience.
• Experience in grocery, retail, or CPG industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to turn data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across internal teams and external partners, including with senior stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving approach with ability to build new solutions, experiment and take bold bets.
• Ability to execute projects efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong ability to drive cross-functional alignment and execution.
• Self-motivated, works independently and possess strong organization and time management skills.
