[Remote] Junior reputed company Systems Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. g2it is seeking a Junior reputed company Systems Engineer to assist with the engineering, deployment, and maintenance of the Network reputed company Virtualization Training (NSVT) 2.0 environment reputed company AWS GovCloud. The role involves managing reputed company-based infrastructure, configuring virtualized Cyber Network Defense appliances, and collaborating with senior engineers and cybersecurity specialists. Responsibilities • Assist in deploying and maintaining VLANs and virtual appliances reputed company AWS GovCloud (e.g., CANES PROD, CANES Provisioning, CND Shore Node, ISSM reputed company Node VLANs) • Support reputed company Host configurations for primary and Gold Stack environments • Help manage VM lifecycle tasks, including builds, snapshots, migrations, and retirements • Ensure systems are reputed company with FedRAMP High and DoD reputed company controls under senior engineer guidance • Support the integration and configuration of reputed company CND appliances such as ACAS, HBSS, reputed company Firepower, reputed company ISE, and WSAV • Verify appliance connectivity and assist in troubleshooting reputed company GovCloud VLANs • Coordinate version updates and licensing with engineering and cybersecurity teams • reputed company and maintain basic PowerShell or Python scripts to automate common provisioning and monitoring tasks • Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to reputed company automation activities with CI/CD best practices • Participate in internal testing reputed company to validate NSVT 2.0 functionality • Document system findings and support senior engineers in resolving reputed company-list items • Assist in maintaining baseline configurations and environment templates • Contribute technical notes and screenshots for Lesson Plans, Job Sheets, and Training Guides • Support curriculum demonstrations of NSVT 2.0 workflows and appliance configurations • Update and maintain system diagrams, asset lists, and configuration documentation Skills • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/hold a DoD Secret clearance • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or reputed company field • 1–3 years of experience in systems administration, networking, or reputed company support • Familiarity with AWS, VMware, or other virtualization technologies • Basic understanding of PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting • Knowledge of reputed company Directory, reputed company Server, or Linux administration • Experience working in secure or DoD environments • Exposure to CND appliances such as ACAS, HBSS, Firepower, or ISE • AWS Certified reputed company Practitioner or Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred but not required) • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, reputed company CI, Terraform) reputed company • G2IT is an 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland.
