Financial Services Representative

Randstad is a Fortune 100 leader seeking a Financial Services Representative for their Retirement Solutions team in Columbus, OH. The representative will guide members, plan sponsors, and brokers in managing their accounts and understanding their policies to build a secure financial future.

Responsibilities

• Taking incoming calls from public sector participants regarding their retirement accounts
• Handling basic topics such as account balances, distribution questions, and password resets after comprehensive training
• Educates customers to ensure understanding of tax implications, penalties/surrender charges, death benefit protection, lifetime income, capital preservation and/or benefits pertaining to the plan/contract
• Resolving routine errors requiring corrective processing
• Analyzes problems to determine proper course of action, striving for first time final resolution
• Develop and grow through monthly meetings with leadership to build a career path strategy and achieve goals

Skills

• A completed or nearly completed Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field)
• A genuine interest in building a career in Financial Services with a top employer
• One year of solid work experience in a service-related field (e.g., restaurant, retail, administrative, hospitality)
• The ability to deliver friendly customer service while simultaneously communicating on the phone and navigating computer systems
• Open availability is required
• Individuals who seek innovative ideas and feedback to continuously improve performance
• A strong passion and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• An engaging personality, both in person and over the phone
• Someone who can easily adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic setting
