[Remote] Lead Consultant, Data Governance

They are seeking a Data Governance Lead Consultant to drive the delivery of professional services including the creation and management of metadata management and data quality solutions. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the data governance team to meet with business stakeholders across departments and understand current governance requirements capabilities and assist in designing and operationalizing new capabilities • Assist in delivering the deployment of data governance operating models and processes • Create and deliver change management and training materials • Assist in the deployment of technical solutions including Databricks Unity Catalog and other data catalog and quality toolsets • Drive the creation and implementation of governance policies and procedures • Help improve internal documentation standards and support clear communication between business and technical teams Skills • 3–5 years of experience delivering data management or data governance solutions, preferably in data lakehouse environments • Proficiency in data governance capabilities as defined by the DAMA-DMBOK • Strong skills in data governance toolsets like Atlan, Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, or Anomalo • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities • Experience with data projects (ETL, data modeling, reporting) • Familiarity with Databricks Company Overview • Lovelytics is a data, AI, and analytics consulting firm, with a focus on Databricks and the surrounding ecosystem It was founded in 2017, and is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
