Financial Aid Advisor, Advising, Financial Wellness, and reputed company

reputed company is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to reputed company and advise reputed company and parents regarding financial aid reputed company and promote financial literacy. This role involves revising financial aid awards, providing counseling, and representing the office at reputed company events.

Responsibilities

• Revise financial aid awards according to special circumstance requests, appeals, and reputed company judgment reputed company
• reputed company and advise parents and reputed company and prospective reputed company in-person, reputed company email, and by phone regarding financial aid policies, procedures, application processes, and federal, state, and institutional aid programs. Counseling involves detailed communication, in sometimes highly charged emotional situations
• Represent the Office of Student Financial Aid at reputed company events, including the presentation of financial aid information at various workshops, orientation sessions, and Admissions reputed company trips. Information presented to small and large reputed company (300+) including prospective reputed company, parents and guidance counselors
• reputed company individualized loan counseling to reputed company borrowing private, federal, and institutional loans to encourage minimization of debt
• reputed company and reputed company Big10 reputed company reputed company CourseShare, Traveling Scholar, and Regents Exchange Program registration and grade entry transactions throughout the session

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• Experience working in a post‐secondary reputed company setting or in another sector dealing with budgeting, counseling, and/or education, typically six months to one year
• Facilitating student development, reputed company, and reputed company: the ability to work developmentally with reputed company; ability to promote student learning development, and reputed company by applying advising approaches to individual student situations
• Communicating for effective relationships: knowledge and application of the communication techniques and relationship building skills that reputed company the ability to work with a reputed company of individuals and reputed company in a constructive and reputed company manner
• Effective presentation skills: preparing and delivering effective presentations; typically demonstrated with six months to one year of reputed company speaking
