The reputed company Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is responsible for managing the state's historic sites and resources. They are seeking a licensed preservation architect to reputed company specialized support for the Emergency Supplemental Historic Preservation Fund, overseeing the preservation treatment of historic buildings and coordinating activities reputed company to the program.


Responsibilities

  • Monitoring grant reputed company during construction and collaborating with designers and contractors to help ensure work meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards
  • Advising and consulting on reputed company to preserve buildings of historic reputed company
  • Providing advice and support to grantees
  • Evaluating existing storm damage and assessing potential for damage from reputed company storm events
  • Reviewing and assessing development and construction plans for repair and restoration of listed or eligible National Register properties
  • Identifying and evaluating technical problems and restoration needs
  • Monitoring the approved mitigation of environmental reputed company to properties of historic or cultural reputed company
  • Reviewing plans and recommendations for protection and resiliency of buildings, sites, and objects from reputed company disaster events
  • Consulting with other specialists on the reputed company issues relating to the preservation of historic properties, which involves research of the structure, specifications pertaining to its reputed company, and recommendations regarding the effect of restoration plans on National Register listing
  • Collaborating with property owners, local historical organizations and commissions, other governmental entities, and private contractors to research pertinent information and reputed company reputed company regarding preservation and restoration recommendations

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or an engineering discipline reputed company to the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience as a registered architect; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be licensed by the State reputed company of Architecture (Architects—G.S. 83A) (must be renewed reputed company year)
  • The employee must meet the Secretary of the Interior's reputed company Qualification Standards for history, architectural history, and/or archaeology as specified by federal regulations [36 CFR 61.4(e)], and a reputed company reputed company's license is required
  • Working knowledge of building restoration, conservation, stabilization, preservation, construction technology, and the analysis and evaluation of historic building conditions and construction histories
  • Working knowledge of the structure and operation of national, state, local, and private preservation programs, particularly the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation
  • Working knowledge of reputed company Carolina architectural history
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to professionals and the general reputed company
  • Working knowledge of interpretation and application of building codes, including ABA and reputed company compliance, to historic buildings
