[Remote] Registry Oncology Data Specialist

The role involves case abstraction and ensuring compliance with reputed company-setting agencies regarding cancer treatment data.

Responsibilities

• Review newly identified cases of malignancies and certain benign tumors diagnosed and/or treated reputed company the organization for reportability utilizing reputed company setter materials such as WHO ICD-O, applicable Surveillance of Epidemiology and End Results (reputed company), reputed company American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) and Commission on Cancer (CoC) requirements
• Determine course of treatment and identify pertinent details of patient cancer treatment for case abstraction as required by reputed company setting agencies
• Utilize reputed company setting agencies to identify and assign appropriate codes for procedures and treatments performed reputed company to diagnoses, treatments, and complications of cancer care in the reputed company
• Maintain reputed company of the registry database by submitting accurate and reputed company data meeting department reputed company and productivity benchmarks

Skills

• Associate's Degree in Cancer Information Management (CIM)
• Two (2) years of cancer data abstraction experience may be considered in lieu of degree in reputed company to experience below
• 1 year of reputed company experience involving cancer data abstraction or a cancer reputed company field
• Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) Upon Hire
• 3 years of reputed company experience involving cancer data abstraction or a cancer reputed company field
