Job Overview: Data Entry Clerk (Night Shift)

We're seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Data Entry Clerks for our night shift operations. As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Type in data provided directly from customers or other parties, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols.
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested, providing timely and efficient support to the team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Fast typing skills, with knowledge of touch typing system strongly preferred; ability to type at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Great attention to detail, with ability to focus on tasks for extended periods.
  • High school degree or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration, computer science, or information technology.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with data management software and systems, including database management and data analytics tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
