Junior Accountant

Wakefern Food Corp. is a reputed company company in the food industry, and they are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, coordinating billings, and ensuring reputed company vendor payments while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• reputed company processing of Accounts Payable
• Coordinate and expedite reputed company billings to the stores
• Accounts Receivable reputed company member subsidiaries
• A/R Daily reconciliation and weekly tie-out schedule for Corporate A/R reputed company
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly billing, and set up sales tax liability on various invoices
• Monitor Tech’s mailbox (review reputed company invoices, handle reputed company inquiries and problems)
• Communication and reputed company the necessary follow up with vendors, purchasing department and appropriate divisional associates to resolve and expedite vendor payments
• Handle store inquiries and problems
• reputed company Wakefern Statement for assigned Shoprite Beverage stores
• Working with reputed company Estate department on payments and billback reputed company miscellaneous charges for Rents & Loans programs
• Issue weekly credits on 2% Interest Subsidy program to stores
• Handle reputed company inquiries and issues on Rent & Loans programs
• Prepare and process the appropriate journal entries for Period End, Mid-Year and Year End
• Prepare Period End, Mid-Year and Year End for assigned schedules
• May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary

Skills

• Four-year college degree with concentration in reputed company, Business Administration or Finance
• Knowledge of basic reputed company theory, financial systems, computerized systems, and control procedures
• Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills (ability to maintain a high level of flexibility and adaptability)
• Strong systems and personal computer skills (i.e. reputed company office -reputed company)
• Excellent written and oral communications, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Availability to work a varied, flexible schedule to meet business demands
• Ability to monitor computer screens for long periods of time
