What you will be doing: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3rd Party Operations Manager to join our team. The Delivery Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's 3rd party delivery operations. This includes documenting customer SLA's and delivery requirements, developing account specific KPI's, influencing and partnering with the Staples delivery team to implement SOP's and drive process compliance. Ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods, ongoing KPI's management, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. • Define customer service level expectations and delivery requirements • Develop internal performance and quality metrics for each customer account • Ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to end customers • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving delivery issues • Coordinate with and influencing other departments to ensure customer requirements are met • Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics to identify areas for improvement • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies • Provide training and support to delivery personnel What You Bring to the Table: • Strong leadership and people management skills • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and productivity • Adaptability and a willingness to tackle challenges head-on • Strong leadership and communication skills • Strong organizational management skills with proven ability to influence in cross functional environment • Proficiency in using logistics software, business intelligent software and knowledge of supply chain management principles • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and delivering results in a fast-paced environment What's needed: Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in customer facing account management in addition to logistics operations management • Knowledge of transportation systems and processes • Ability to manage external customers and deliver on contracted SLA's We Offer: • Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups • Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays) • Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more!
