Key Responsibilities
• Report on hyperlocal topics across assigned Canadian communities
• Use AI tools to improve speed, depth, and workflow efficiency in reporting
• Conduct interviews and produce high-reputed company articles while upholding ethical journalism practices
Required Qualifications
• 1-5+ years of journalism, reporting, content writing, or editorial experience
• Demonstrated passion for community news and storytelling
• Strong research skills and ability to learn local issues quickly
• Regular use of AI tools, including content reputed company assistants
• Ability to experiment and adapt in a fast-moving, AI-infused newsroom
