Head of ETF Portfolio Management

Location: Atlanta relocation preferred, but remote with frequent travel to GA accepted Position Summary Vident is seeking a strategic Head of ETF Portfolio Management to oversee the team responsible for the implementation, execution, and oversight of ETF portfolios. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of index and active portfolio management, particularly within an ETF structure, as well as capital markets and portfolio compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across multiple asset classes—including equities, fixed income, and commodities—with a preference for those who have managed international equities. Additionally, this role requires a systematic approach to data, technology, and processes to ensure portfolios can be implemented efficiently with a high level of accuracy to fund objectives and guidelines. What You Will Do • Lead, motivate, and develop a global team of portfolio managers, traders, and analysts. • Set clear goals, define team structure, and provide coaching and mentorship. • Oversee investment and operational workflows for active and passive ETF, mutual fund, and UCITS portfolios across numerous asset classes. • Identify opportunities and lead efforts to automate operational processes to improve the investment process, increase platform scalability, and reduce risk. • Contribute to the build-out of new tools and systems for portfolio management, trading, and operations. • Work closely with the Executive, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure seamless and compliant product development and execution. • Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for team performance to senior leadership. • Utilize the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework to clarify roles, streamline operational processes, and ensure team adherence to our core values or be willing to learn and implement its tools to drive team clarity, alignment, and accountability. Requirements • Prior ETF portfolio management and trading experience. • Prior experience managing investment professionals. • High proficiency in Bloomberg OMS and EMS. • Programming skills in Python, SQL and VBA a plus. Qualifications • Comprehensive knowledge of ETFs, global markets, and financial market trends. • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). • Degree in finance preferred.
