EDC Student Internships / New Grad Positions – Commerce Stream (Starting summer 2026)

Export Development Canada (EDC) is a Financial Crown corporation that empowers Canadian businesses to succeed globally. They are seeking students and new grads with Commerce skills for internships and co-op programs to gain experience in various roles within the organization. The program is designed to provide foundational skills for a career in business and may lead to long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

Skills

• Studying or recently graduated from a program with a focus in Commerce, International Business, Management, Business, or related
• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program (eligible for up to one year after completion of studies)
• Available for 8 months or more - While roles will be available for 4-month terms, preference will be given to candidates with availability that extends
• Previous work term experience related to their field of study
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated self-starter, good organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Enthusiasm to tackle any task, whether menial or complex
• Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid work visa at the time of application
• Applicants must meet government security screening requirements
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in post-secondary studies or have completed their studies within the past year
• Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions
