Business Intelligence Engineer III (Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate Developer) Remote (EST Hours) 6 Month Contract (Potential to extend) $50-52.80/hr W2 Overview: The Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate Developer develops custom apps, automating workflows, and integrating data sources using Microsoft Power Platform tools. Assignments are varied and require independent judgment and problem-solving. Responsibilities: Develop and customize Power Apps applications based on defined business requirements. Design, build, and maintain Power Automate flows for process automation, approvals, notifications, and data integration. Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Dataverse, and other services. Execute quality assurance procedures, oversee testing/debugging, and implement fixes. Research and resolve complex software-related issues; recommend improvements. Collaborate with App Architect and stakeholders to align solutions with acceptance criteria. Document technical designs, workflows, and user guides for delivered solutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. 3–5 years of experience in application development or systems analysis. Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and Power Automate. Strong understanding of data modeling, connectors, and security roles in Power Platform. Must be passionate about improving business processes and user experience. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree. Experience with SDLC, Azure DevOps, and environment management. Familiarity with Power BI and custom connectors. Additional Information: This role will work directly with an App Architect and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
