Entry-Level Bridge Engineer

Trilon Group is a civil and environmental engineering firm focused on improving quality of life through innovative design. They are seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Engineer to support transportation projects, gaining hands-on experience in bridge analysis, design, and inspection while working alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the analysis and design of highway and pedestrian bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures
• Support bridge rehabilitation, replacement, and inspection projects
• Prepare design calculations, technical memoranda, and construction documents
• Develop plans and details using AutoCAD and MicroStation/OpenBridge
• Perform structural modeling and analysis under the guidance of senior engineers
• Coordinate with project team members and assist with quality control reviews
• Learn and apply applicable AASHTO, state DOT, and industry design standards

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)
• 0–2 years of relevant structural or bridge engineering experience (internships/co-op experience will be considered)
• Strong interest in bridge and transportation structures
• Familiarity with engineering software such as: AutoCAD, MicroStation / OpenBridge, LEAP Steel and/or LEAP Concrete, BrR / BrD, MIDAS (or similar structural analysis software)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skill
