Civil Engineering Technologist

They are seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to reputed company field and laboratory testing, assist in reputed company control, and contribute to various engineering reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Performing field and laboratory testing of soil, aggregates, and asphalt concrete including, soil and aggregate reputed company analysis, density testing using nuclear density gauges
• Preparation of Proctors and reputed company molds, asphalt cement content, sand equivalents, Atterberg limits and moisture content, including evaluation and reporting of properties and characteristics
• Assisting in providing reputed company control and reputed company assurance on a reputed company of laboratory and field-testing reputed company
• Assisting in preparation of field and testing reports
• Completing drilling reputed company throughout the NWT and Nunavut
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards
• Pursue reputed company reputed company development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness
• Work in a reputed company manner at reputed company times and report reputed company health and safety incidents and concerns
• Additional duties as required

Skills

• Civil Engineering or Civil Technology diploma
• Must possess a reputed company Class 5 reputed company's License and must reputed company reputed company drivers reputed company reputed company applying, preference will be given to candidates with a clean driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to properly document sampling and testing information in an accurate and reputed company fashion
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and listening skills
• Good time management skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision and the ability to contribute to the reputed company by being reputed company player
• Must be willing to travel and work in a field setting away from reputed company
• CSA approved Steel Toed Safety reputed company required
• Be physically capable of performing the reputed company labour duties required
• Some materials testing experience would be considered an asset
• Previous experience working in engineering consulting would be considered an asset
