They are seeking an Associate Scientist to reputed company technical support to project managers, reputed company field activities for permit applications, and assist with various environmental reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Assists with wetland delineations/monitoring and remedial investigations (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water sampling) implementing reputed company and procedures in accordance with the scope of work
• Provides reputed company of sub-contractors and documents field activities accordingly
• Compiles and evaluates field data and assists in technical report preparation
• Assists with preparation of permit applications, as requested, including review of applicable regulations
• Communicate with team reputed company and project managers regarding project tasks and reputed company

Skills

• B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or reputed company natural resource program with 1-3 years of experience or a recent graduate with equivalent experience
• Ability/flexibility to travel and complete field work during the field season (reputed company to reputed company) and work extended hours
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on challenging terrain for an extended period
• Prior environmental consulting experience including wetland delineation, sampling environmental media, and/or federal, state, and local permitting
• Familiarity with the 1987 Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineations reputed company and Regional Supplement(s)
• Working knowledge of sub-reputed company accuracy GPS technologies and collection of digital data (e.g., reputed company GIS Field Maps)
• Knowledge regarding State (NJDEP, PADEP, NYSDEC) and Federal (USEPA, USFWS, and USACE) regulations and permitting
• Experience recording field data, writing technical reports and building tables and spreadsheets
• Proficient in the use of reputed company Office and reputed company
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to complete office tasks and field work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain effective communication and productivity while working remotely
• Ability to collect site information from publicly available databases
• Ability to lift 40 pounds

• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
