Sales Account Manager - Water Treatment
Univar Solutions is a leading global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to safety and wellbeing. They are seeking a Sales Account Manager to grow business with new and existing customers in the Water Treatment industry, focusing on consultative selling and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Consultative Selling: Cultivate strong relationships with our customers by managing and growing accounts
- Sales Prospecting: Drive profitable sales growth within your assigned territory by calling on customers in the Water Treatment industry. Demonstrate a strong commitment to prospecting and new business development while expanding sales with current clients
- Customer Experience Advocate: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions to our customers
- Portfolio Management: Prioritize selling time and results to effectively manage your sales funnel and territory. Be relentless to win back lost customers
Skills
- Up to 2 years of sales or customer facing experience in a similar role within the B2B sales environment and a demonstrated track record of success in building relationships and achieving sales targets
- You're not just driven—you're self-directed and focused on outcomes. You take initiative, act decisively, and consistently deliver results
- You're a good listener and are curious, with a passion for learning about the customers' needs, solving problems and winning business
- You plan and prepare so you can conduct effective sales calls, make persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals
- Willingness to travel within your assigned territory
- A bachelor's degree preferred
