Description & Requirements

The Senior Software Engineer / Developer will work alongside the Principal Software Engineer and lead a hands-on role in designing, developing, and integrating Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions into the Infor MES product. This role focuses on bringing rich AI features directly into the hands of daily users, supporting both shopfloor factory workers, supervisors and executives. You will be utilizing your existing .NET skillset, combined with AI technologies in Infor OS to build this expanded feature set.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Collaborate closely with the AI Team Lead and cross-functional teams to build AI/ML-enabled features within the Infor MES SaaS platform.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions primarily using .NET technologies.
  • Develop new Gen AI enabled features for the Infor MES product
  • Built out a rich API library with MCP support
  • Take advantage of the Infor OS stack, combined with LangChain to bring agentic AI into the MES Platform
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure software quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in documenting architecture, development processes, and operational procedures related to AI/ML integrations.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize AI/ML-powered software components in the cloud environment.
  • Support Agile development processes and actively contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and team collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven professional software development experience with strong .NET (C#) expertise.
  • Practical understanding of AI and Machine Learning with experiencing building AI first features within an enterprise application.
  • Experience with MCP, LangChain and creating AI agents.
  • Experience developing cloud-based SaaS applications, preferably on AWS or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of database technologies and data integration principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Infor OS technologies including APIs, workflow automation, event-driven architecture, and identity management.
  • Prior exposure to Generative AI tools and frameworks, even if not deeply technical in AI model development.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS environments and cloud security best practices.
  • Proven experience of building AI features within enterprise software
  • Background in MES, industrial software, or manufacturing domain is a plus.
