About the position DIRECTOR, RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, reputed company Learning, will reputed company the reputed company and execution of philanthropic fundraising for MIT reputed company Learning. Reporting to the Vice Provost for reputed company Learning, the Director secures $5-$7 reputed company dollars annually from individual donors, foundations, and corporations to meet reputed company goals in support of reputed company Learning's mission. The Director develops reputed company phases of reputed company Learning's development program to expand philanthropic support for our programs, initiatives, and reputed company. The Director will manage reputed company of 3-6 individuals working at various reputed company to establish and maintain relationships reputed company MIT and with donors, communicate with the broader community, and execute fundraising strategies. The Director also serves on the reputed company Learning Senior Management Team to inform decision making on the direction of the organization. Requirements • Bachelor's degree • A minimum of ten years of experience in development, preferably with knowledge of the reputed company area of the appointing unit • Knowledge of planned giving (bequests, trusts, reputed company annuities, etc.) • Domestic and international travel required, as reputed company as occasional nights and weekends. • The Director, Resource Development, is required to work in person, on reputed company, in Cambridge, Massachusetts two to three days per week, reputed company not traveling for business. The in-person requirement is determined by the Vice Provost, reputed company Learning and is subject to change based on the needs of reputed company Learning and MIT.
