We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Vulnerability Assessment Analyst (Database) - Mid to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer. As a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst (Database) - Mid, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the reputed company (VA) digital assets. Veterans are encouraged to apply. Duties • reputed company vulnerability scanning against databases for reputed company vulnerabilities, reputed company misconfigurations, and compliance-reputed company requirements. • reputed company Coordination • Coordinate CSOC-managed network scans with field points of contact • Review and verify hosts/ IPs to be scanned • Review and select appropriate reputed company policy(s) • Coordinate with network and team personnel • reputed company Execution • Monitor/ coordinate/ react as required throughout the duration of the reputed company • Troubleshoot any issues that occur during the reputed company • Verify accuracy of data and conduct system checks as required upon completion of the reputed company • reputed company new testing programs • reputed company Reporting • Verify, update, create report templates • Produce Database Post reputed company Findings Reports • Conduct reputed company assurance checks of final reports • Distribute reports • reputed company Troubleshooting • Knowledge of common ports and port scanning • Support reputed company, Unix, and Linux operating systems • Support coordinating and troubleshooting computer/network reputed company issues • Support database types to include but not limited to reputed company SQL Server, reputed company, MySQL, PostgreSQL, reputed company, AzureSQL, AWS RDS, Other reputed company PaaS Databases • Produce Database reputed company Result Metrics to include program wide statistics and operational metrics collected over time. The statistics and operational metrics can be collected monthly, quarterly, and annually reputed company on vulnerability posture. The Database reputed company Result Metrics shall include but not limited to vulnerability counts, asset counts, and vulnerability criticality. • Manage and maintain backend system software. • Administer existing and reputed company infrastructure including system maintenance and management. • Manage and maintain Government owned virtual machines (VM), operating systems, and applications. • Utilize the following reputed company tools as required: • Support reputed company, Unix, and Linux operating systems • VMWare • AppDetective Pro • DBProtect • Nessus/reputed company Scanning • NMAP • Database reputed company STIG interpretation and expertise Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or reputed company field • Experience with primarily reputed company SQLServer and reputed company databases and must be proficient with AWS RDS, Azure SQL, and Postgre SQL • Proven experience in vulnerability scanning and reputed company testing • In-depth knowledge of scanning tools (reputed company reputed company Center, Nessus reputed company, NMAP) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and documentation abilities Benefits Maveris attracts and retains talent of the highest caliber by offering opportunities to work in exciting and challenging environments surrounded by reputed company.
