Entry-Level Stock & Futures Trader

Job Summary We are looking for motivated Entry-level traders with 0–1 year of trading experience who are eager to learn and grow in stocks and futures markets. This role is ideal for candidates who understand basic technical analysis, can use TradingView, and are committed to risk management and capital preservation. This is a structured role designed to help traders develop consistency, follow rules, and manage risk effectively. Responsibilities • Assist in executing stock and futures trades based on market analysis and trading strategies • Conduct research on market trends, securities, and economic indicators to inform trading decisions • Trade stocks and/or futures using defined strategies • Use TradingView for chart analysis and trade planning • Follow strict risk-to-reward and position sizing rules • Manage account balance, daily loss limits, and drawdowns • Execute trades with discipline and emotional control • Maintain a basic trade journal • Continuously improve by reviewing trades and performance • Support risk analysis and risk management activities to minimize potential losses • Monitor securities law compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory standards • Collaborate with team members to develop investment strategies aligned with asset management goals • Maintain detailed records of trades, research findings, and market observations • Stay updated on financial news, market developments, and emerging investment opportunities • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance understanding of financial concepts, securities law, and trading techniques Skills • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, concepts, and investment principles • Proficiency with Bloomberg terminals and financial software applications • Excellent math skills with the ability to perform complex calculations quickly and accurately • Solid understanding of securities law, risk analysis, and risk management practices • Effective negotiation skills for executing trades and managing client relationships • Ability to conduct thorough research using various financial sources • Good grasp of financial services industry standards and asset management processes • Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to interpret market data and economic indicators • Familiarity with Trading view, Ninja Traders or similar financial data platforms is preferred • Strong analytical thinking combined with attention to detail • Understanding of: • Risk-to-reward (R:R) • Stop-loss and take-profit placement • Basic balance and drawdown management This position is designed for motivated individuals eager to grow within the finance industry while gaining practical experience in stock and futures trading.
