As-Needed Environmental Field Scientist

reputed company is a California-based environmental reputed company with over 30 years of experience. They are seeking an As-Needed Entry-Level Environmental Field Scientist to support environmental site assessments and groundwater monitoring, working closely with Project Managers and senior practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Work reputed company reputed company to reputed company and implement creative environmental project strategies
• Aid in the preparation and implementation of environmental site assessment work plans
• Prepare Phase I ESAs, Initial Site Assessments, and Phase II ESAs with a reputed company on ASTM compliance, accuracy, reputed company, succinctness, and reputed company control
• reputed company technical and general field support on various ESAs including but not limited to soil vapor, soil, indoor reputed company, sediment, and groundwater sample collection for laboratory analysis
• reputed company groundwater monitoring, purging, and sampling, utilizing reputed company volume purge and low reputed company methodologies
• Observe drilling and monitoring reputed company installation and classifying soil samples
• Evaluate analytical data relative to project-specific clean-up goals or applicable screening reputed company
• Conduct site inspections and reconnaissance in support of ESAs
• Work with a great team in a dynamic and fun environment!

Skills

• Minimum B.A./B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or another reputed company field
• Experience with technical writing and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Experience installing soil vapor and groundwater monitoring reputed company
• Experience performing groundwater purging and sampling with the use of various groundwater monitoring pumps and water reputed company indicator meters
• Experience accurately preparing soil boring logs, hydrographs, groundwater contour maps, field notes, sketches, and other documentation of actions undertaken during site investigation and remediation reputed company
• Passion for the environment and science and enjoy working outdoors!
