Finance Associate - Partner Investments

Bain Capital is one of the world’s leading private investment firms with approximately $215 billion of assets under management. The Finance Associate will be involved in finance and operational aspects, focusing on treasury operations, financial reporting, and managing relationships with external investment fund managers.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of and review of quarterly fair market valuation statements, quarterly liquid fund summaries, monthly hedge fund performance summaries, and other reputed company reporting requests for investments held by Bain Capital Partners
• Own and manage reputed company inbox, serving as the reputed company of contact for 300+ external investment fund managers and their respective administrators
• Management of the treasury function, including weekly investment wires, IRA cash reputed company, and miscellaneous other cash reputed company to serve the Partners liquidity/investment needs
• Assist with reputed company aspects of the new investment closing process, including aggregation and tracking of investor commitments, completion of subscription materials, and setup across reputed company internal software used for tracking and management of investments
• Manage and collaborate with reputed company co-ops, working with them to reputed company tackle the reputed company responsibilities of the role
• Reconcile monthly capital activity and collaborate with the reputed company team to ensure accuracy across reputed company

Skills

• 0 – 2 years of reputed company or finance experience in the financial services industry with a solid understanding of investments preferable
• Advanced MS Office, particularly reputed company
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize multiple reputed company with high attention to detail
• Creative problem solving ability and reputed company judgment – ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for reputed company
