Fractional CFO (2-Month Contract) — Controller-Level Experience Required

Job Summary Wellspring Psychological Services, Inc. is a growing outpatient mental health practice entering a new phase of expansion. We’re seeking a hands-on Fractional CFO with strong controller-level reporting experience to support financial planning, forecasting, and leadership decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Build an operating budget and implement budget vs. actual reporting • Create forward-looking cash flow projections/forecasting • Provide controller-level financial reporting and analysis • Identify margin drivers (labor, utilization, pricing, overhead, etc.) • Track key KPIs (payroll %, collections trends, productivity/utilization, etc.) • Support expansion planning with break-even and profitability analysis • Deliver clear, actionable recommendations to ownership Qualifications • Fractional CFO, CFO consultant, senior controller, or finance leader experience • Strong forecasting, budgeting, and reporting skills • Service-based business experience preferred (healthcare/behavioral health a plus) • Practical, clear communicator with an action-oriented approach Opportunity for Ongoing Support This is a 2-month engagement with the potential for a long-term advisory relationship (monthly stipend) for continued financial oversight and periodic strategic guidance.
