Florida Licensed Utilization Nurse Consultant
A company is looking for a Utilization Management Nurse Consultant in Florida.
Key Responsibilities
• Utilizes clinical skills to coordinate, document, and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program
• Consults with internal and external constituents regarding the utilization/benefit management function
• Gathers clinical information to apply medical necessity criteria for coverage determination and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of clinical practice experience in an inpatient setting
• Active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Florida
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
• Must reside in Florida
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred
