Join EY’s International Corporate Tax Advisory team in Washington DC to provide expert cross-border tax advice and support complex transactions. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Researching and analyzing clients’ international tax issues to understand business needs • Communicating findings and articulating tax approaches clearly to clients • Consulting on complex tax matters impacting direct and indirect taxes • Balancing multiple projects simultaneously, typically four to six at a time • Supporting clients with cross-border tax obligations, supply chain, transactions, planning, reporting, and risk management • Working as part of the International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) – International Corporate Tax Advisory (ICTA) team About You The company is looking for: • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline • Either an LL.M. in Taxation or Juris Doctor degree • Membership or anticipated membership in a US state bar • High self-motivation to work independently and collaboratively • Strong time management skills to prioritize multiple complex projects • Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and eagerness to learn • Excellent communication and writing skills, business fluency in English • Proficiency in basic MS Office tools including Excel • Ability and willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as needed • Access to reliable transportation and preferably a driver’s license • Residence in or commutable distance to Washington, DC • Ideally, knowledge of leveraging firm-approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot Compensation & Benefits • Base salary range: $145,000 - $150,000 (varies by education, experience, skills, and geography) • Comprehensive medical and dental coverage • Pension and 401(k) plans • Wide range of paid time off options including flexible vacation policy • Paid holidays, winter/summer breaks, personal/family care leave, and other leaves of absence • Hybrid work model with 40-60% in-person client engagement expected Training & Development EY provides future-focused skills development and world-class experiences in a flexible environment, fostering growth through diverse and inclusive globally connected teams.
