Part-Time Shopify Developer Needed (Custom Apps & Code Snippets)

We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to support ongoing and upcoming work involving custom Shopify apps, advanced theme customizations, and custom code snippets. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working deep in Shopify’s ecosystem and delivering clean, scalable, production-ready solutions. What You’ll Do Build and maintain custom Shopify apps Work with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and webhooks Create and customize Liquid, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML Modify and extend existing custom code, Shopify apps, and themes Implement advanced Shopify customizations beyond standard theme edits Ensure performance, maintainability, and clean architecture Required Skills Strong experience with Shopify development Solid knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML Proven experience building custom Shopify apps Familiarity with Shopify APIs (Admin & Storefront) and webhooks Ability to work with and refactor existing codebases Attention to code quality, scalability, and best practices Nice to Have Experience with Shopify Flow Experience with Shopify Functions Familiarity with Checkout Extensibility Experience working on complex or high-traffic Shopify stores Project Details Ongoing work (not a one-off task) Flexible collaboration Clear requirements and structured communication Opportunity for long-term cooperation if it’s a good fit How to Apply Please include: Brief description of your Shopify experience Examples of custom Shopify apps or advanced customizations you’ve worked on Your availability and hourly rate Looking forward to working with someone who understands Shopify beyond themes and plugins.
