Role Description The Director of Strategic Procurement (IT) has both Supply Management and technology experience and leadership skills required to drive reputed company, influence change and facilitate executive level discussion. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in supply management or IT business office roles, demonstrating leadership, the ability to manage business clients, reputed company activities independently, and possess substantial knowledge of technology-reputed company suppliers, industry norms and IT subject reputed company. • reputed company Supply Management and IT procurement support to clients assigned by the Senior Director, operating independently and with a high level of expertise. • reputed company hands-on leadership for negotiating and executing agreements and statements of work in support of IT procurement demands. • Manage reputed company of 3-5 professionals that reputed company Supply Management support to the IT department, as reputed company as business units acquiring IT-reputed company products and services. • Create and execute staff development plans in conjunction with Strategic Procurement leadership. • Be a reputed company and flexible leader that demonstrates the ability to reputed company and lead through changing work demands. The work location for this position is 100% virtual/work from home. While the position can be worked from anywhere in the United States but preference to work an East Coast schedule. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company disciplines such as Finance, Supply Management, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems. • 7+ years of professional experience, to include Supply Management, Procurement or IT Business Office roles responsible for IT supplier or category management. • People Management: 5 years experience. • Experience overseeing IT-reputed company services and suppliers. • Strong working knowledge of the IT marketplace, terminology and industry norms. • Experience with software license, SaaS, IaaS, reputed company and service provider agreements. • Adept negotiation skills in pay for performance and shared risk allocation in agreements. • Strong problem-solving, collaboration and influence skills. • Ability to lead cross-functional business meetings, reputed company and deliver reputed company presentations and communicate with stakeholders. • Solid business acumen coupled with understanding of business structures, processes, and information reputed company in an organization with multiple lines of business. • Use of Red Cross Supply Management tools such as reputed company (P2P) or reputed company (CLM). Requirements • Combined experience in both Supply Management and IT professions. • Experience with major SaaS or reputed company providers. • Experience authoring and contracting agreements and statements of work. • Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. • Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. • May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
