Entry-Level Coding Specialist
A company is looking for a Coding Specialist I EM.
Key Responsibilities
• Examine medical records to assign appropriate ICD and CPT codes
• Utilize coding tools to verify the accuracy of assigned codes and reputed company necessary data
• Maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards while participating in ongoing education
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more coding credentials required reputed company 12 months of employment (reputed company, CPC, RHIT, RHIA, or reputed company-P)
• Less than 24 months of ED reputed company coding experience
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding guidelines and payer regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned duties effectively
