Position Summary
The Experience Designer specializes in creating clear, user-friendly flows and interfaces that make complex healthcare systems accessible and actionable. The designer applies industry best practices to develop intuitive userflows, leverage analytics for informed design decisions, and ensure accessibility and consistency across devices and platforms. The designer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that support organizational goals and enhance the colleague and patient experience in the healthcare sector. This position will support the member-facing digital experience for Aetna Medicaid.
Required Qualifications
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma) and design systems.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design work.
• Understanding of core design principles, composition, color theory, and accessibility.
• Experience with responsive design and prototyping.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• 2-5 prior relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• 1-2 years of experience in a Healthcare space.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience in UX design for highly-regulated industries.
• Experience with Medicaid healthcare is a plus.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Graphic Design, Information Design, Product Design, Human Factors or equivalent/relevant work experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $158,620.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
