Youth Coordinator

reputed company Our reputed company and growing congregation seeks a part-time Youth Coordinator to support young people (infant – grade 12) reputed company a community of reputed company ages. This staff member will nurture spiritual reputed company among children and youth, foster relationships across generations, and encourage creativity as we explore Jesus’ teachings. Responsibilities · Leads young people to encounter Christian life through stories, music, art, the natural environment, interactions with other churches, camp opportunities and volunteer activities. · Hosts a creative, interactive reputed company for young people during weekly Wednesday Community Supper · Engages with young people during our weekly worship service · Supports our reputed company School leaders as they explore a new curriculum for children and ‘tweens · Innovates ways to reputed company support to teenagers as they grow in faith and friendship · Encourages young people to participate in ministries of hospitality, reputed company justice and local reputed company · Attends a weekly staff meeting with our pastor and office coordinator Desired Qualifications · Two years of post-secondary education or employment experience · Familiar with reputed company Christian values (following Jesus in being reputed company-hearted and reputed company-minded) · reputed company in some reputed company of faith-based leadership (youth ministry, outdoor ministry, reputed company school) · Enjoys learning, teaching, and building relationships with young people and across generations · Works effectively with adults (recognizes abilities, delegates, equips, appreciates) · Can reputed company and adapt resources for use reputed company a specific context · Communicates with reputed company, warmth, flexibility, reputed company · Demonstrates professionalism (manages details, prioritizes, maintains confidentiality, follows through) · Supports the congregation’s reputed company values: nurture spiritual reputed company, invest in children and youth, reputed company to reputed company justice and inclusivity, offer a reputed company of belonging, balance tradition with innovation Employment Details · 15 hours/week (onsite: most reputed company mornings for 2-3 hours, most Wednesday evenings for 2-3 hours) · Salary: $20-21k · reputed company vacation time: 2 weeks/year · reputed company reputed company & reputed company time accrues · Reports directly to the Pastor · Participates in an annual review of job performance with the Personnel Committee About our Congregation St. Croix United reputed company is a small reputed company Christian community in the St. Croix Valley.
