Field Engineering Spec II

POSITION OVERVIEW: Analyze operational data/methods, identify performance improvement opportunities and/or implement technology systems that meet business objectives. Provide analysis, reporting tools and support for field operations to effectively control and/or justify operational costs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Analyze data obtained through multiple sources including data mining tools and other statistical analysis tools • Research, analyze and consolidate technical or engineering related information and present for management review • Develop, evaluate, document and improve operations methods to work area design, process flow and work methods • Monitor, analyze and recommend ways to improve productivity, service and cost performance in all areas of operations in conjunction with management • Collaborate with all levels of field leadership to identify trends in performance • Establish a communication link between operations and corporate departments; provide data and technical expertise relating to facility and equipment planning, layout and cost justification • Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop and implement corporate projects • Provide education and support for new technology deployments • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures • Perform other duties as required Disclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.
