Lead Generation & Content Strategist
We are currently searching for a Full-Time Lead Generation & Content Strategist to support our growing marketing team. This role will work closely with the Marketing Director to drive qualified lead generation across Fortra Law, Fortra Conferences, and Lender Lounge podcast through campaign development, content strategy, social media execution, funnel monitoring, and paid media collaboration. This position is remote, with occasional travel requirements up to three times per year.
Primary Focus
The Lead Generation & Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that generate qualified leads and support business development goals. This includes ownership of social media strategy and scheduling, email campaign development, collaboration with SEO and paid advertising agencies, and ongoing monitoring of lead flow and pipeline visibility through Zoho CRM Plus.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation, Funnel Optimization, and Pipeline Visibility (Zoho CRM Plus)
• Develop and support lead generation campaigns including webinars and lead magnets
• Monitor landing page performance, conversion paths, and campaign effectiveness
• Identify funnel bottlenecks and recommend improvements to increase conversions
• Coordinate implementation of messaging, CTA, and optimization updates
• Regularly review marketing-sourced leads entering legal team pipelines in Zoho CRMPlus
• Monitor pipeline movement and flag breakdowns in follow-up or lead handling
• Ensure campaign attribution and source tracking are properly categorized
• Surface trends in lead quality, conversion rates, and campaign performance
• Provide insights and recommendations to the Marketing Director for review and action
Content, Social Media & Email Strategy
• Develop and maintain an integrated content calendar across all brands
• Write and refine all social media copy
• Coordinate with the graphics team to develop campaign visuals
• Load and schedule approved content in Zoho Social Scheduler
• Monitor engagement and manage escalations
• Draft email marketing campaigns for webinars, newsletters, and podcast promotions
• Ensure messaging consistency across social and email campaigns
• Analyze performance trends and adjust messaging strategy accordingly
SEO Alignment & Attorney Thought Leadership
• Serve as the internal liaison to the SEO agency
• Review and refine SEO-driven blog drafts for brand alignment and positioning
• Align SEO topics with practice area priorities and lead generation goals
• Coordinate with attorneys to develop article ideas and drafts
• Align thought leadership messaging with SEO direction when appropriate
• Ensure published content is repurposed and distributed across channels
Paid Media Oversight & Agency Collaboration
• Work directly with external paid media agency
• Align ad messaging and targeting with firm priorities
• Review landing page alignment and creative direction
• Monitor cost per lead, conversion rates, and lead quality
• Recommend optimizations to improve performance
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in lead generation, digital marketing, or content strategy
• Strong understanding of funnel performance and conversion optimization
• Experience writing and managing professional social media content and email campaigns
• Experience working with paid media agencies and understanding campaign performance metrics
• Experience collaborating with SEO agencies and supporting content-driven growth strategies
• Experience working in CRM systems (Zoho CRM Plus preferred)
• Strong writing skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively
Experience in legal, finance, professional services, or B2B industries is strongly preferred.
