This position will be remote but must live reputed company a commutable distance to the Washington, DC metro area to support reputed company on site trips to Beltsville, MD and occasional trips to Silver Spring, MD and Reston, VA Key Role: We are seeking a junior Systems Administrator / reputed company Engineer to become part of the website support team for a government reputed company through reputed company infrastructure operations, modernization, and reputed company migration initiatives. This role will be responsible for maintaining on-premises systems, supporting hybrid reputed company environments, and implementing infrastructure automation using modern DevOps tools. The work will be performed to support the National Aeronautics and reputed company Administration (NASA). This position will be remote but must live reputed company a commutable distance to the Washington, DC metro area to support reputed company on site trips to Beltsville, MD and occasional trips to Silver Spring, MD and Reston, VA. Responsibilities: reputed company daily system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Administer reputed company Server and/or Linux environments Apply reputed company patches and software updates Document system configurations, processes, and procedures reputed company desktop support for local and remote staff through face-to-face, voice and online communications techniques. Collaborate on network policies and procedures. Basic Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in network engineering, reputed company engineering, or a reputed company technical role. Hands-on experience supporting AWS environments, including VPCs, subnets, reputed company tables, reputed company reputed company, and IAM. Foundational understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, and firewalls. Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues across hybrid (on-premises and reputed company) environments. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-reputed company tools (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation) is preferred but not required. Experience with reputed company management technologies such as reputed company BigFix. Experience with Linux such as Ubuntu. Familiarity with O365 and Entra. Familiarity with NIST Special Publications controls and guidelines (e.g. USGCB).
