Job Title: Supplier Onboarding Analyst – Procurement
Location: Remote - Maplewood, MN
Department: ESC Global Procurement Admin
Job Type: Contract (5-months)
Pay Rate: $33-$35/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Onboarding Analyst to support supplier onboarding and digital procurement system implementation initiatives. This role will focus on supplier master data onboarding, historical data cleansing, process documentation, supplier communications, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a smooth transition to new procurement workflows and systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience in procurement operations or supplier data management, and the ability to collaborate across procurement, IT, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Master Data Management
• Execute supplier onboarding activities including data collection, validation, and accuracy checks.
• Support historical data cleansing, remediation, and system data loads.
• Ensure alignment with supplier master data governance standards and naming conventions.
Onboarding Process & System Support
• Support onboarding workflows within procurement platforms (e.g., Graphite or similar tools).
• Assist with system testing, issue documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Identify onboarding process gaps and recommend workflow improvements.
• Help develop SOPs, process documentation, and training materials.
Supplier Communication & Readiness
• Prepare supplier-facing communications, FAQs, and readiness materials.
• Coordinate supplier outreach and follow-ups with Sourcing and Category teams.
• Maintain onboarding dashboards, metrics, and status reports.
Change Management
• Support stakeholder alignment, communications, and training initiatives.
• Assess the impact of new systems and processes on suppliers and internal teams.
Reporting & Analytics
• Provide reporting on onboarding progress, supplier segmentation, and data quality trends.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure supplier data supports analytics and downstream reporting needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Procurement, Supplier Quality, Master Data, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Serve as a central point of coordination for onboarding inquiries and issue resolution.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in supplier onboarding, supplier master data, procurement operations, supply chain, or system/process implementation.
• Experience with procurement systems (Ariba, Graphite, Coupa, or similar).
• Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and cleansing.
• Experience with project tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accuracy.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, implementation-focused environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity.
